I have become very discontent with the blogging process lately. It is starting to feel like work. Life is very much the same from season to season and coming up with fresh new posts is not always easy to do. Reading blogs and trying to comment, plus answering comments seems to take a lot of time that could be used more wisely elsewhere. So, think it is time to take some time off and see if I can't maybe come back with a fresh prospective, or maybe fill that time with more constructive things. Time will tell on that one.
I am also disillusioned with a lot of what I am seeing and reading in some of the blogs now days. For the most part, I have made wonderful friends in blogland and I value those friendships so very much. I will be visiting those blogs and making a major effort to keep in touch with those people. You all know who you are. I may take a day and read and comment on others at random, but for the most part, Norma has "Gone Quilting/reading/crocheting/stitching and maybe, just maybe doing some much needed work around her home.

Oh we will miss you - but I understand the need to take a break - and the feeling that we "must" blog. I've been trying to blog when I feel like it - even if there is a stretch when there is nothing blogged. I am trying to avoid the "oh I must get more viewers" syndrome by not participating in so many named posts - like "I have this cute thing to show Tuesday" - you get the idea. I am going to blog when I want - and about what I want - and if I blog a lot and then have a space - I'll only feel good about it - well, that is what I keep telling myself. So now I'm going back to sewing - I'm making 400 zillion flying geese - paper piecing. Enjoy your time off.
I understand - you will be missed--just don't forget about us once the summer is over.
Rest - have fun - do something exciting.

I completely understand, there are days when I feel like I am just saying the same thing over and over because its that time of year and we are busy with baseball and horse shows and how many times can you really talk about those things?
I hope that you get back to do the things you enjoy in life and that you stop by!

I thoroughly understand. Sometimes I feel like I meet myself coming and going and I wonder why I sit in front of the computer when I could be doing other things.
I take breaks from blogging sometimes, too, so I understand how you feel. Hope to see you in the blogosphere, and hope you return to blog yourself after awhile.

eI understand your sentiment exactly! I feel exactly the same way! I haven't quite gotten to where I'm ready to take a break yet but I have slowed down. Managing the blogging stuff is time consuming. Take a break and we'd love to see you come back when and if you are ready.
Have a good rest. Get lots of things done that you want to do. Be happy! That is the most important thing. I will miss your blog, but I totally understand where you are at.

oh, oh, oh, I will miss you, my darling banshee,,, but that is kinda what I've been doing since January, its about time I get back on track and show everybody what I've been up to, but its hard to start back up again, so don't stay away too long!!
Well darn, I feel like I have just gotten to know you and you are leaving. But you know, them most important thing is to enjoy what you are doing and when it is no longer enjoyable, don't do it anymore. I don't blog as often as some, but I do enjoy reading what the gals I follow are up to and sharing every now and then what I am doing. So maybe, after awhile, you will be back.
