Revenge

Ya'll remember late last winter and spring? You know when you were suffering though the dregs of winter, thinking it was never going to go away. I was posting pictures of my flowers and my new tomato plants and my lovely spot on the patio swing.

Well, folks, here is your revenge. This is what I saw when I climbed into my car this afternoon about two o'clock. Yes, you are seeing right, 118 degrees!

Granted the car had been sitting in the full hot sun for several hours and that temp did go down to 113 after I drove down the street a ways. July is not a fun month and this year it is really hot

So, now that you know I am getting mine, back under the AC with my iced tea...........

Guess I should not complain when our temp goes over 100%.

Must ask though what is the normal humidty range for your fair location?

We had a rain session run thru early this morning...so the temp is cool and getting a nice breeze...absolutely wonderful right now.

118! That is horrible, here we are barely getting out of the 70s! This weather is weird, it was 58 two nights ago!

Oh I remember those days - and don't want to do them again. We lived in Brawley, CA - hot hot hot hot - it was 113 (actual temperature) the day we packed up to move to N. CA - and when we arrived there in two days it was 56 and foggy - I thought I was in HEAVEN!!!! At last. Enjoy the iced tea.

Hey Norma, you had to know you were going to get a weather report from everyone, LOL! It was 65 here in Maine today--65 degrees on July 9! It's been like this all summer, just the way a Maine summer should be. I'm loving it! So sorry it's so hot where you are. When I lived down south, I would have perished without the a/c. Never again! Hope you're having a good summer.

Oh, you must be one HOT granny!! tee hee!

we are in a perfect spot this time of year, 70's and sunny, it sprinkled through the night so we don't have to water. Lake Michigan water temps are running around 60, though, so our tourists are not in the water much.

It is 74 degrees in our kitchen today. Sorry Norma! I remember those hot, hot, hot summer months. But the desert is beautiful this time of year, and if I remember correctly, the sunsets are wowzers.
