Big Changes

This is what we used to buy Julia and Colin for their Nana/Papa Easter baskets. They are so sweet and I loved picking things like this out for them.

This is what we bought this year! The shark is for Julia and the alligator is for Colin. They come from their new favorite store...Bass Pro Shop. Colin has a couple of snakes made out of this silky stuff and they have a ball with them. Did you know that they slide down the stairs on their own? They fly nice off the landing too. Then, they are really great to use as a pillow when you watch TV after you played "Scare Nana" with the new toy!

I need to see if I can find a kid that needs a fluffy, yellow Easter duck or something!

As the grand children grow older their tastes change as evident in this years gift selections. They will have lots of fun with them (oh, yes, including scaring their Nana from time to time).

Have a fun weekend.

Oh my! Their tastes have changed! Who would ever have thought Easter shopping at Bass Pro! Guess I'm old-fashioned, but I still like the bunnies and chicks....and soft pastel colors.

Hi Norma, thanks for the lovely welcome back *VBS* I've missed you!I see you got caught by a 'tag' and the 'flu bug'. So sorry about that...hope all is better now.
Fun me-me that you did *VBS* and no thanks on doing it...LOL
Love the new stuffed animals, but agree that Easter was more fun with soft furry hug-able Easter toys. Hugs, Finn

Time flys and things change. Sometimes it is sad for us as we watch them grow up so fast. But it is so rewarding too. I still love the fluffy easter bunnies at my age though. So don't give up hope, maybe they will want them again later. Terry
