Wondering?

In case anyone is wondering, why there are no pictures of my grandchildren on my blog. I am so proud of both of them, they are cute, attractive kids.

My daughter and son in law are concerned parents that believe in protecting their children in all ways, including the Internet. So, they have a policy that says, no pictures on the Internet of the kids, except those we send to family and good friends.

Are we being too careful? Not sure about that one but I respect their wishes when it comes to the kids. In any case, I would rather be too careful than not and have some weirdo use my most precious thing in the whole world for the wrong purpose. You will just have to believe me when I tell you how cute they are.

My blog would be more enjoyable and more colorful with pictures but, we have to be careful out here.

there is nothing wrong with being cautious!

Though it would be fun if you draw pictures of them :D

You're right - you can't be too cautious and it's always best to abide by the wishes of their mom and dad. We all know they're darling children! :)

Everyone has a right to their own comfort zone.

If their your's, they're OF COURSE gorgeous!

Oh yes. My son was shocked when the hospital, where his first daughter was born, posted the babies' pictures (name and all) and offered to send them to people on the internet. This was 10 years ago but still shocking. It was a smaller town and I think they just didn't get it. He made sure they did. I don't post family pics or names. I do send them in e-mail but not in open posts. Once in a while I get an odd comment, not relating to quilting, that makes me aware of how near and far my blog information goes.

Oh, me. Of course, my son made sure they did NOT post his daughter's pic. Fingers sluggish this morning, or is it the brain? LOL
